Happy Holidays From P&C!

Cheers to a great year and an ume-filled 2025!

Hi Friends,

What a year it’s been! As we prepare for a brief holiday break, we reflect on the triumphs and curveballs we have navigated this year, both in our own business and in the wider world.

We took on more robust sales initiatives this year and added Sergeant Classick and Ambix Spirits to our lineup at the same time that we began to feel the downturn in sales highlighted in this recent article from the American Craft Spirits Association. We became the sole importer for Mezcal Zancudo at the same time that our national executive office began discussing potentially devastating tariffs. Against this backdrop, the Federal Trade Commission is suing Southern Glazers for price discrimination, a topic that we, like every other small craft producer in the country, are keenly aware of.

The people and businesses we work with tend to exist outside of mainstream spirits monopolies, and we are committed to supporting and promoting these artisanal, sustainable producers despite the challenges of operating within an often unsupportive national, economic, and regulatory framework.

We are, now more than ever, committed to our core values, and despite the fact that 2025 holds many unknowns, we are looking forward to rolling up our sleeves and diving into this good work next year, with the full knowledge that it will require creativity, patience, and grit to make our vision a reality.

Thanks so much for sticking with us, reading our blogs, and buying our spirits. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we look forward to sharing new spirits and musings with you next year. Stay tuned, friends, and may this holiday season and the promise of a new year bring peace and joy to you and yours!

Cheers,

The P&C Team
